Hi,  I am Kristan Anderson.  I am a seasoned financial professional with over 20 years of experience in accounting and finance. For the past six years, I’ve served as the Financial Controller and the HR Manager for TrinWare. In this role, I manage financial operations, budgeting, and strategic planning to ensure the company’s financial health and growth. In addition, I handle all things Human Resources including benefits, recruitment and performance.  Before joining the tech industry, I honed my skills in the construction and credit card sectors, where I gained a deep understanding of diverse financial environments and challenges.

My career has been shaped by a passion for numbers, problem-solving, and creating sustainable financial strategies. I thrive in dynamic industries where technology and innovation meet financial management, and I enjoy working alongside cross-functional teams to drive success. My background in both large and small companies has given me a broad perspective on financial operations and business strategy, allowing me to contribute effectively at every level of an organization.

As a fairly new addition to the Human Resources realm, I have recently become SHRM-SCP certified.  I am passionate about making TrinWare a Best-In-Class employer by using the HR skills I have been honing.  We spend the majority of our waking hours at work, we should be spending this time with organizations and people that we can relate to. 

Outside of my professional life, I enjoy the outdoors and spending time in nature, which is a natural part of my upbringing in a small town in Wyoming. I’m passionate about homesteading and enjoy crafting and reading as hobbies that balance my work life. Travel is another love of mine, and I make time to explore new places and cultures whenever possible.

On a personal note, I’ve been married to my husband for 18 years and together for 23, and we have three mostly grown children. My family means the world to me, and I strive to maintain a balance between my career ambitions and my personal life, cherishing the time we spend together.
